Job Description

Job Title: Accessibility Forms Tester

Location: Metro Atlanta, GA ( Hybrid onsite as directed)

Interview: In-person/WebCam

Preferred Qualifications

  • IAAP WAS certification (highly desired).
  • IAAP CPACC certification (plus).
  • Knowledge of accessibility compliance regulations ( ADA, Section 508, EN 301 549).
  • Prior experience in government compliance projects .
Compliance Requirements
  • Candidate must be Georgia tax compliant (no overdue taxes, no felony convictions).
  • Fingerprinting & background check required.
  • Candidate must provide a Tax Clearance Letter with submission.

Job Description:

  • Test web-based forms for WCAG 2.1/2.2 compliance (Levels A & AA).
  • Validate accessibility using assistive technologies (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, Adobe Acrobat).
  • Identify issues with keyboard navigation, labels, ARIA, focus order, color contrast, and error handling.
  • Document defects with WCAG references, severity, and recommendations.
  • Retest resolved defects to confirm remediation.
  • Ensure form business logic remains intact after accessibility fixes.
  • Collaborate with DOR TSD team to integrate accessibility best practices.
Required/Desired Skills:
Skill Required /Desired Amount Actual years of Experience
Experience testing and or providing guidance on forms and documents to ensure compliance with ADA, 508 Regulations, and WCAG guidelines. Required 2 Years
Proficiency with accessibility testing tools (e.g., Axe, WAVE, Lighthouse, ANDI, Color Contrast Analyzer). Required 2 Years
Familiarity with WCAG 2.1/2.2 guidelines, including relevant success criteria for form elements (e.g., 1.3.1, 3.3.1 3.3.4, 4.1.2). Required 2 Years
Hands-on experience with screen readers and keyboard-only navigation. Required 2 Years
Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS) certification from the International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP) WAS Highly desired
IAAP Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC) certification is a plus. Highly desired
Knowledge of legal accessibility requirements (e.g., ADA, 508 regulations, EN 301 549). Highly desired
Experience working in government compliance. Highly desired
Strong communication skills and ability to document technical findings clearly. Required
Excellent attention to detail. Required
Must be able to evaluate code, specifically JavaScript Required 2 Years
Basic understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ARIA attributes Required 2 Years
