Job Description

DESCRIPTION

As a Business Intelligence Engineer Co-op at Amazon Robotics, you will play a crucial role in transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. Working within our dynamic team, you'll leverage SQL, data visualization tools, and programming skills to develop and maintain analytics solutions while collaborating with stakeholders across the organization. This role offers hands-on experience in full-lifecycle analytics projects, from gathering requirements and data analysis to dashboard development and documentation. The ideal candidate combines technical proficiency with strong business acumen, demonstrating both independence in execution and effectiveness in cross-functional collaboration. This position provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in data analytics while contributing to meaningful projects that impact Amazon Robotics' operations.

Key job responsibilities
• Develop and maintain data visualizations and dashboards
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data analysis
• Create comprehensive technical documentation

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related technical field.
- Able to work Full-time (40 hour/week) from July/August- December 2025
- SQL proficiency with demonstrated ability to write complex queries
- Experience with data visualization tools (particularly Tableau)
- Programming experience in Python or R
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
