Envocore is Hiring a Carpenter!
Locations: Abilene, TX
Work Schedule:
- Days: Monday–Thursday
- Hours: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
About the Role
Join our team as a Carpenter in the Building Envelope Department. This roles begin with local, hands-on training in Abilene, TX then transition into travel-based positions . All candidates must be open to travel after the initial training. Prevailing wage projects are available.
Responsibilities
- Execute skilled carpentry tasks including measuring, cutting, and installing weather stripping, Styrofoam board, fiberglass insulation, spray foam, and window caulking.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools (drills, miter saws), and elevated equipment (ladders, scaffolding, lifts).
- Assist with loading/unloading and staging materials.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Travel to various job sites following training.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of construction/carpentry experience preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude with strong problem-solving skills.
- Safety-oriented with correct PPE usage.
- Detail-oriented, observant, and dexterous.
- Valid driver’s license required; OSHA 10 certification preferred.
- Comfortable with digital devices (tablet, computer, phone).
