Carpenter 

$25.00 - $34.00 Hourly

At EJH Construction, we specialize in residential and commercial remodels, restoration, and custom construction projects. Our team values quality craftsmanship, teamwork, and professional growth. We’re seeking an experienced Carpenter with a strong background in remodels and renovations who can handle a wide range of carpentry tasks from framing to finishing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform all aspects of carpentry for remodel and renovation projects, including framing, rough carpentry, and finish work
• Install and repair doors, windows, cabinetry, flooring, trim, and other woodwork as needed 
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install materials to meet project requirements
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications accurately
• Participate in nationwide projects lasting 1–3 weeks
• Complete local work during non-travel periods
• Collaborate with project managers, other trades, and team members to ensure timely, high-quality project completion
• Provide excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail on every project

Qualifications

• Carpentry experience in residential and/or commercial remodels and renovations
• Strong skills in both rough and finish carpentry
• Willingness and ability to travel nationally for short-term assignments (1–3 weeks at a time)
• Willingness to learn and work under the guidance of skilled carpenters
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Valid Drivers License & Ability to operate motor vehicles

Essential Physical & Cognitive Requirements

• Continuous lifting, pulling, pushing of objects
• Ability to individually lift and/or carry 50lbs
• Ability to multi-task, read, write, calculate data have reliable & predictable attendance
