As an 1099 Independent CAT Property Desk Adjuster , you will:
✔️ Investigate, evaluate, and resolve assigned property claims with professionalism and efficiency.
✔️ Review coverage details, policy language, and claims documentation to determine the appropriate claim resolution.
✔️ Assess estimates using Xactimate and Symbility to ensure accuracy and policy alignment.
✔️ Communicate with insureds, claimants, vendors, and other stakeholders professionally and effectively.
✔️ Set and adjust reserves according to client guidelines.
✔️ Analyze field reports, recorded statements, and other evidence to make well-informed claim decisions.
✔️ Provide detailed claim documentation in compliance with regulatory and carrier-specific requirements.
✔️ Maintain productivity and service levels in a high-volume claims environment.
To thrive in this 1099 Independent CAT Property Desk Adjuster role, you must:
✅ Have at least 3 years of property claims handling experience .
✅ Be proficient in Xactimate and Symbility for estimate evaluations.
✅ Hold a valid property adjuster license in your state of operation.
✅ Work independently , exercising sound judgment in claim resolutions.
✅ Have strong written communication skills for policy interpretation and reporting.
✅ Be organized and able to manage multiple claims efficiently.
✅ Have excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities .
✅ Possess strong customer service skills to handle inquiries professionally.
✅ Be tech-savvy with experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and claims management systems.
