A specialized opportunity is available for an experienced Special Education Teacher with expertise in Autism to support a middle school caseload ranging from grades 6 to 8. This temporary leave replacement role offers the chance to apply specialized skills in a focused educational setting and make a meaningful impact on students learning and development.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Certification or proven experience in Special Education, specifically working with students on the autism spectrum
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to middle school students
• Strong classroom management skills and strategies for supporting diverse learners
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with school staff, families, and support teams
• Experience in assessment and progress monitoring to guide instructional practices

Location: Flemington, New Jersey
Assignment Duration: October 27, 2025 March 13, 2026 (Maternity Leave Contract)
Student Caseload: Middle School (Grades 6-8)

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction to students with autism and other disabilities following IEP directives
• Adapt curriculum to meet academic and social-emotional needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers to support student success
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and participate in IEP meetings
• Foster an inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and independence
