Full Time --7a-3p -- Monday-Friday
Job Summary :
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medication Aide to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the administration of medications to our Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities. Working in this 6 person home will be a welcome change from a large nursing facility, as this truly is a home and where these individuals have chosen to live and work. The following are some of the employee benefits could be available to employees after 60 days of employment. EARC pays a portion of this cost for the employee. Dependent coverage is available.
Paid Time Off(PTO) --PTO is earned on an accrual basis. Ten (10) days are earned over each year of full time employment. Reduced amount are accrued for part time employment, This amount increases after the first & fifth years of continued employment.
Holiday Leave-- Six(6) paid holiday--New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Lavor Day, Thanksgiving Day, & Christmas Day.

Education and/or Experience
High School education and must have completed competency training program approved by the state and hold current certified medication aide license.
Languages Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in on-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees or the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations
Certified Medication Aide License
CPR/FA
Oklahoma Driver’s License
All DDSD and State Health Department required training
All training and licenses must be kept current

Evaluation
Performance of this job will be periodically evaluated by the Director of Nursing in accordance with the provisions of EARC’s policy on personnel evaluations.
