Welcome to UnionPark, a unique blend of equal parts coffee shop, bakery, cocktail lounge and event space. We are seeking a Coffee Shop Manager to join our team! You will be responsible for providing customers with a memorable experience.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all barista activities
- Oversee guest services and resolve issues
- Ensure a high quality of ingredients and drink preparation
- Train and manage barista personnel
- Create and adjust staff schedules to meet restaurant needs
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations
- Work with kitchen manager to coordinate rotating food menus and food service
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food service or other related fields, preferably at a coffee shop
- Strong leadership qualities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- A passion for coffee
- Specialty Coffee Association certification (not required but a plus)
- Serve Safe and TIPS certification (not required but a plus)
