CREDENTIALING SPECIALIST | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
- Location: Franklin TN 37064 – Hybrid
- Payrate: $16.79/hr
- Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Hybrid schedule: Remote Monday and Friday, On-site Tuesday to Thursday
CREDENTIALING SPECIALIST | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Credentialing Specialist will support credentialing and onboarding activities for agents, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and data integrity. This role involves reviewing and validating provider/producer information, maintaining credentialing databases, and collaborating with agents to complete records.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
CREDENTIALING SPECIALIST | RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review, analyze, evaluate, and validate provider/producer information against credentialing requirements
- Maintain credentialing databases with accuracy and attention to detail
- Process agent onboarding contracts and verify insurance licenses
- Add appointments and confirm records are complete and validated
- Research and resolve sensitive provider/producer issues, ensuring data integrity
- Utilize multiple systems and online resources to support credentialing activities
CREDENTIALING SPECIALIST | REQUIREMENTS :
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (Verifiable) | (Associate’s degree preferred)
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- 1+ years of customer service experience in a healthcare setting
- Insurance knowledge a strong plus
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities (letters, emails, memos)
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access) and internet resources
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
