Area of Accountability Understand the current capabilities of Hendrickson with regards to data analysis Improve Hendrickson’s data analysis and prediction capabilities Implement any improvements, for use in the business Major Responsibilities (may vary depending on project): Understand and document current processes around data ingestion and synthesis of our current forecasting system Investigating advanced methodologies to improve forecasting, and determine with the team which one(s) are worth pursuing Validate selected methodologies by using historical data and ‘predicting’ past forecasts and comparing them to actual Once an acceptable methodology is selected, take steps to roll it out to the business - All other duties as assigned Qualifications: Enrolled student working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science , IT, data analytics, artificial intelligence, or r elated field. Minimum GPA 3.0/4.0 Must be able to commit to full-time (40-hours). Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Excellent PC skills and tech familiarity. Familiarity with data and or AI tools (SQL, PowerBI , Python, Tensorflow ) An understanding of time series data, and forecasting * This is not a comprehensive list of duties.
