Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) at San Miguel Medical Clinic, located in South Gate. The position offers a competitive rate of $100 per hour, along with a sign-on bonus. The NP/PA will be responsible for providing primary care services, conducting patient assessments, diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions, and managing patient care plans. Duties will also include ordering and prescribing medications, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care. The role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a commitment to patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish and English
• Experience in conducting patient assessments, diagnosing, and treating acute and chronic conditions
• Skills in managing patient care plans and prescribing medications
• Expertise in ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Current NP or PA license and certification
• Master’s degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies
• Previous experience in primary care or a similar clinical setting is preferred
