VICTVS is recruiting Exam Proctors/Invigilators to supervise professional examinations in-person at venues in Marina Del Rey, California . Note: applications submitted without a covering letter will not be accepted.

Role description:

The successful applicant will oversee professional, high-stakes examinations for adult learners. Proctors/Invigilators must follow all procedures to ensure the integrity and security of exams. Exams may be written or computer-based, requiring good computer skills and strong attention to detail.

Working Pattern:

Exams last up to 8 hours, possibly up to 9 hours per day. You will be notified about assignments approximately 10 days in advance. Exams are mainly on Fridays, with potential setup days to prepare venues.

This is a freelance or contractor role, not full-time. You are responsible for transportation, and only expenses aligned with our policy will be reimbursed.

Rate: $17 USD per hour

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Preparing the exam room
  • Greeting candidates and verifying IDs
  • Supporting test centre staff
  • Communicating instructions to candidates
  • Assisting with candidate concerns
  • Recording attendance
  • Ensuring prohibited items are not brought in
  • Monitoring candidates during exams
  • Handling technical issues
  • Reporting incidents
  • Communicating problems to VICTVS
