The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in fund formation, structuring, and regulatory advisory, contributing to a growing practice advising clients across the investment fund industry.

Location

Duties

  • Advise on the formation and structuring of registered investment funds, including mutual funds, ETFs, and closed-end funds
  • Counsel clients on alternative fund structures such as interval/tender offer funds, BDCs, REITs, and holding company vehicles
  • Provide guidance on regulatory and compliance matters, both domestic and international
  • Assist with distribution-related legal considerations for various fund products
  • Support public company reporting obligations and related capital markets matters
  • Collaborate with legal teams and clients to provide tailored legal solutions for fund offerings

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in a recognized investment funds practice
  • Substantial experience with a variety of retail and alternative fund products
  • Familiarity with compliance, regulatory frameworks, and fund distribution issues
  • Experience advising public companies or in capital markets transactions (preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage sophisticated fund matters independently or with minimal supervision

Education

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications

Admission to the bar in a relevant U.S. jurisdiction (or eligibility for prompt admission)
