We re seeking experienced UAT and Performance Test Leads to support a major healthcare payer system implementation (HRP/Guiding Care) for a New York-based health plan. Ideal candidates will bring hands-on experience with Axiom, HealthRules Payor, and Guiding Care, along with deep functional or technical expertise in healthcare operations, system integration, and testing strategy. Roles are remote-friendly with strong collaboration across business and technical teams.

1- UAT Test Lead HRP / Guiding Care Implementation (2 Positions)

Location: Remote

Range:

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities for HRP and Guiding Care implementations within a regional health plan environment.
• Design and maintain user-centric workflow documentation and comprehensive test cases across core payer processes (eligibility, benefits, claims adjudication, care/utilization management, and billing).
• Coordinate defect triage and resolution efforts with onshore/offshore QA and development teams.
• Facilitate UAT review sessions with business stakeholders and ensure full traceability to requirements.
• Oversee the documentation and validation of test scenarios in alignment with HIPAA and NY State regulatory requirements.

Required Experience & Skills:

• Strong functional expertise in healthcare payer operations and systems integration.
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Axiom
  • HealthRules Payor (HRP)
  • Guiding Care
• Familiarity with New York State Medicaid and commercial health plan guidelines.
• Working knowledge of HIPAA compliance in UAT processes.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and training delivery skills.
• Experience with healthcare reporting, business process documentation, and managing distributed QA teams.
• Prior success leading UAT efforts in regional health plans or comparable healthcare environments.

2- Performance Test Lead HRP / Guiding Care Implementation (1 Position)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute, and manage end-to-end performance and load testing strategies for Axiom, HRP, and Guiding Care applications.
• Monitor and analyze system performance using tools such as Dynatrace and Splunk; identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Create automated performance test scripts and scenarios using LoadRunner, JMeter, and Python.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to ensure scalable, high-performing systems.
• Manage and track test cases, test results, and defects using JIRA.
• Deliver detailed performance analysis reports and dashboards for business and technical stakeholders.

Required Experience & Skills:

• Proven experience leading performance testing in healthcare payer or clinical systems environments.
• Proficient with:
  • LoadRunner , JMeter for test execution
  • Dynatrace , Splunk for monitoring and log analysis
  • Python for test automation
  • JIRA for defect and test management
• Deep understanding of transaction flows within payer systems such as Axiom, HealthRules Payor, and Guiding Care.
• Ability to lead technical discussions, troubleshoot complex issues, and communicate findings clearly across teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
