Position Summary:
The Media Specialist plays a pivotal role in supporting educational goals by developing and managing library/media programs, integrating technology, and promoting media literacy. This position ensures students and staff access diverse print and digital resources to enhance learning and information fluency

Experience/Requirements:

• Experience as a Media Specialist
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated, with strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of data and information.
• Excellent communication – verbal and written, and interpersonal skills.
• Responsive to requests.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto liability insurance.

Education/License/Certification:

• Bachelor of Science from an accredited college/university
• Valid South Carolina teaching certificate as a Media Specialist (Library Media Specialist) or currently pursuing certification to the satisfaction of the District
