No experience is required as training is provided to become a lube technician who can change oil, replace wiper blades/air filters, fill air in tires, and perform other light maintenance services. Responsibilities include draining motor oil, changing oil filters, washing windshields, adjusting tire pressure, inspecting and topping off fluids, performing coolant exchanges, restocking and maintaining inventory, maintaining cleanliness of the work environment, and providing excellent customer service. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, maneuver in and out of a shallow 3’ deep pit, walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist for extended periods, work in hot/cold weather conditions if necessary, and have reliable transportation to and from the shop.
