We are seeking an Operations Manager to join our team! You will run a remediation crew as well as oversee the activities of 2-3 remediation teams. No on-call work - Enjoy your nights and weekends!
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the daily activities of the remediation crews
- Schedule projects with clients
- Order supplies and materials
- Delegate client projects to appropriate teams
- Conduct weekly safety meetings
- Train new hires
- Lead a remediation crew with hands-on work which at times entails demolition, containment construction, and application of our proprietary products
- Communicate with front office and estimators about ongoing and future projects
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience as a leader managing multiple off-site projects at once.
- Previous experience in at least one related construction field i.e. drywalling, framing, plumbing, painting, roofing, etc.
- Has an understanding of how kitchens and bathrooms are constructed/deconstructed
- Able to pass testing for industry required certifications (IICRC WRT & IICRC ARMRT)
- Self-starter with high sense of responsibility and attention to detail
- Comfortable and effective with both one-on-one coaching and team facilitation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Takes ownership and shows initiative to address performance shortcomings
- Creates positive energy among team and inspires team members through their own actions
- Ability to understand and resolve people and process related problems
