Job Description

An Organizational Development Supervisor is responsible for developing and managing engagement and development processes and programs. He/she will collaborate with members of the leadership team to design and support employee development throughout the entire organization. He/she will provide new and current employees with the proper training to perform his/her job to be successful. This individual operates under limited supervision and directly reports to the Director of Human Resources.


Responsibilities:

  • Presents and makes recommendations regarding course design, technology, and instruction delivery options.
  • Collaborates with management, branches, and divisions across the organization to develop onboarding, leadership, and development programs.
  • Act as a "champion" and administrator of the ITI platform to develop and redesign onboarding and training programs for all employees.
  • Work with other members of the organization to administer and onboard different departments, branches, and divisions onto the ITI platform.
  • Assess the training needs by sending surveys out to employees throughout the organization.
  • Capture, synthesize, and develop creative and technical content for different internal audiences.
  • Determine the scope of educational projects, write learning objectives and paths, and create the layout and design of instructional material.
  • Empathize, inspire, and collaborate with all employees to create business specific training and onboarding programs.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned by the Director of Human Resources.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Essential:
  • Must be proficient with basic computer skills.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Must have proficient oral and written communication skills and an understanding of varied learning styles.
  • Experience developing effective quality training programs.
  • Knowledge of best and emerging practices in planning, delivering, and evaluating lifelong learning efforts.
  • Must be detail oriented, highly organized, self-motivated, and disciplined with the ability to multi-task.
  • Must have familiarity with video technology (design and editing), and knowledge of assessment and evaluation methods.
  • Experience with presentations to corporate and professional development audiences.
  • Possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to pass a drug test, background check, and fit for duty test.
Desired:
  • Prefer candidates with at least a bachelor's degree.
  • Prefer candidates with certifications in Training Courses and Development Workshops.
  • Prefer candidates with at least 3 years of experience developing curriculums and learning paths with various software platforms.
