The position of Post Doctoral Scholar in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) offers an excellent opportunity to conduct research in an interdisciplinary team with healthcare professionals, computer science/AI experts, and health communication/implementation science experts. The Post Doctoral Scholar is expected to design and evaluate AI-based systems for clinical decision-making and/or disease management, conduct surveys and interviews with clinicians and patients, write grant proposals, and publish high-quality papers in top computer science journals/conferences and biomedicine journals. The Post Doctoral Scholar will work closely with Dr. Weidan Cao in College of Medicine and College of Public Health at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center (OSUMC). The position will be a full-time appointment for 12 months, with the possibility of renewal and promotion dependent on research performance and mutual interests.
