Position Overview
Located in Colorado Springs, CO or Manhattan Beach, CA , supporting the Sentinel program, this role involves overseeing mechanical systems design, evaluating designs, ensuring quality, supporting technical data packages, conducting trade studies, managing design change requests, and identifying risks and opportunities.

Work Schedule & Relocation

Qualifications
For Principal Mechanical Engineer:
- Bachelor's in STEM + 5 years' experience, or 3 years' with Master's, or 4 with PhD
For Sr Principal Mechanical Engineer:
- Bachelor's in STEM + 8 years' experience, or 6 years' with Master's, or 4 with PhD
Common Requirements:
- US Citizen with active DoD Secret Clearance within last 6 years
- Ability to obtain SAP approval
- Experience with CAD tools like Siemens NX
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or infrastructure projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to interpret requirements
Preferred Skills
- Ability to work independently in dynamic environments
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with missile programs and propulsion
- Proficiency in 3D CAD, PDM, GD&T
Salary Range
$91,200 - $150,500 (Range 1) and $113,500 - $187,300 (Range 2). Compensation depends on experience, education, and market conditions. Additional benefits may include bonuses, incentives, and long-term incentives.
