We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with expertise in Playwright to join our quality engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing and executing automation test strategies using Playwright , integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, and driving quality across web and microservices-based applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and reusable test automation frameworks using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript).
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and DevOps teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
- Implement and execute test plans and test cases for functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Drive adoption of best practices in test automation, test coverage, and code quality.
- Perform root cause analysis for issues found during testing and contribute to continuous improvements.
- Maintain test documentation and contribute to automation strategy planning and reporting.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 4+ years of experience in QA Automation.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Playwright for test automation.
- Strong knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Solid understanding of automation frameworks and tools.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Cloud Platform (MCP) and web technologies.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and API test automation (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
- Knowledge of Git and version control best practices.
- Excellent analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
