Position Summary:

The Recruiter will be responsible for supporting the Human Resources team with full cycle recruiting, proactively sourcing, identifying, and evaluating candidates from initial contact through offer. The Recruiter will support multiple departments and positions such as warehouse employees, CDL drivers, customer service representatives, accounting and financing specialists, buyers and more.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition in executing recruitment strategies to attract top talent
  • Maintain an open line of communication with the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition and other human resources team members on candidate pipelines, recruitment metrics, and any challenges that arise in the recruitment process
  • Source a pipeline of candidates by utilizing job boards, networking, referrals, job fairs and any other creative means of locating qualified candidates.
  • Conduct full cycle recruiting including sourcing, screening, interviewing and reference checks etc.
  • Cold calling and contacting potential applicants
  • Present candidates to management and coordinate interviews
  • Recruit effectively, demonstrating the ability to successfully multi-task and work within a timely manner.
  • Build Julius Silvert’s employment brand and act as brand ambassador by keeping up to date with all recruiting and human resources policies and procedures as well as employee benefits and attending relevant job fairs and networking events.

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of full-cycle recruitment experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, communications, organizational development, business administration, or a related field highly preferred.
  • A proven record of recruiting strategies that support the successful delivery of candidates by addressing talent supply, talent movement and possible market challenges.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment with success filling positions within 30 days.
  • Energetic self-starter with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to build relationships and maintain strong lines of communication with all hiring managers for successful placement of candidates.
  • Technical proficiency with Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Teams, Outlooks, etc.)
  • A detail-oriented “people person” with a true can-do attitude
  • Strong organization skills and the ability to handle multiple projects/deadlines with conflicting priorities
