Job Description

ProspectBlue has partnered with a company in Richmond, VA and is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Recruiter with agency experience to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of recruiting within the finance and accounting space, a strong understanding of the industry landscape, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and candidates alike.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with hiring managers and clients to understand their hiring needs in finance and accounting functions (e.g., FP&A, tax, audit, financial reporting, payroll, etc.).
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing candidates.
  • Source high-quality finance and accounting talent through various channels including LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and your own professional network.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future roles.
  • Provide a consultative approach to clients and candidates, offering market insights, salary guidance, and hiring trends.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) or CRM.
  • Meet and exceed performance metrics and placement targets.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of recruiting experience within an agency environment, with a focus on finance and accounting roles.
  • Strong understanding of finance and accounting functions and terminology.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Experience using ATS systems and recruitment tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • A client-first mindset and proven ability to build and sustain long-term relationships.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience placing candidates in both permanent and contract roles.
  • Existing network of finance and accounting professionals.
