This Registered Nurse position is in a 25-bed critical access hospital in Philipsburg, MT, providing care to a patient population primarily consisting of skilled nursing facility residents. The role requires experience in ER, LTC, and medical-surgical settings and involves providing comprehensive nursing care as the sole nurse on the night shift.

Responsibilities:
- Providing skilled nursing care to patients in a long-term care (LTC) setting, including medical-surgical and emergency room patients.
- Performing patient assessments, medication administration, and treatment planning.
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, including CNAs and other nurses.
- Managing patient care independently during the night shift.
- Responding to emergency situations.
- Maintaining accurate patient records.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Montana.
- Minimum of two years of experience in hospital, LTC, and ER settings.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Clinical assessment, medication administration, and treatment planning skills.
- Interdisciplinary team collaboration skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- PALS certification.
- Travel nursing experience.
Special Considerations:
- This is a night shift position (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM).
- The RN will be the sole nurse on duty during the night shift.
- The position requires floating to medical-surgical or emergency room as needed.
- The hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital with a consistent census of 13-15 skilled nursing facility patients and less than 2 ER patients daily.
- 36 hours per week are guaranteed.
Scheduling:
- Night shift (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM).
- 36 hours guaranteed per week.
- Shift assignment is pre-determined.
