The Retail Associate assists the store management team in reaching the operational goals of the site by functioning in various capacities within the retail location. The titles of the various jobs the Retail Associate may be called upon to learn and work include: Cashier, Textiles or Wares Producer, Donation Door Attendant, eCommerce Producer, e-Books Producer, and Rack or Cart Runner. Duties include ringing up customer orders, maintaining a balanced drawer, providing information about Goodwill programs, maintaining cleanliness of the sales floor, sorting and tagging textiles or wares, accepting donations, sorting products, loading and unloading trucks, identifying valuable items for eCommerce, scanning and managing books, and maintaining sales floor organization. The role requires physical work including standing, walking, lifting 10-50 pounds, and exposure to moderate noise and temperature variations.
