Design Manager

(Hybrid – Gurnee, IL)

We’re seeking a hands-on Design Manager to lead a small, high-performing in-house creative team supporting a portfolio of CPG brands. This role blends strategic vision with strong executional design skills—ideal for a packaging-focused creative who thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of 3–4 designers
• Drive high-quality creative for packaging, in-store displays, and brand assets
• Collaborate with marketing to bring product stories to life visually
• Oversee production-ready artwork and ensure brand consistency
• Manage timelines and deliverables across multiple projects

• What We’re Looking For:

  • 8+ years of design experience, including 1–2 years in a leadership role
  • Strong portfolio with packaging and shopper marketing work
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Deep understanding of print production and packaging best practices
  • Confident communicator and team collaborator

• This is a hybrid position based in Gurnee, IL , with up to 2 onsite days/week.
