About Our Client
Our client, a leading company in commercial real estate, is looking for a dedicated Space Planner - Move Coordinator to assist in an upcoming large-scale office relocation project. This role requires an individual who thrives in a fast-paced, ticket-driven environment and has excellent organizational and customer service skills. The Space Planner - Move Coordinator will work closely with internal teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient moves for new hires, transfers, and office relocations.
Key Responsibilities
- Ticket Management : Respond to tickets in the queue related to new hires, employee transfers, and office moves, ensuring each request is addressed promptly and efficiently.
- Move Coordination : Collaborate with various teams and external vendors to coordinate seamless office moves, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Communication : Maintain effective communication with internal teams and external vendors, ensuring moves are executed on time and according to plan.
- Attention to Detail : Carefully track all move requests and ensure accuracy in all documentation and move plans.
- Project Support : Play a key role in an upcoming office move, contributing to planning, execution, and follow-up to ensure success.
Qualifications
- Must Have Skills :
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
- Quick learner, able to adapt to new processes and tools efficiently.
- Nice to Have Skills :
- Familiarity with Tririga software (preferred but not required).
- Experience :
- 3-5 years of experience in a space planning, move coordination, or similar role.
- Experience working with a ticketing system or in an environment with high-volume requests is a plus.
- Education :
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical Skills :
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Work Environment
- This role involves working with both remote team members and on-site colleagues.
- The candidate will be trained in person by their reporting manager but will primarily work remotely once training is complete.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential, as the candidate will be coordinating with multiple teams and vendors to ensure the success of each move.
