Job Description

This full-time position is for a Special Education Teacher specializing in elementary education, working onsite with students who have Autism and other developmental disabilities. The role involves managing classrooms of 8-12 students during the 2024-2025 school year. There are three openings available.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students unique needs.
• Providing direct instruction and support to students with Autism and other developmental disabilities.
• Collaborating with support staff and families to ensure comprehensive educational progress.
• Maintaining accurate records of student performance and behavior.
• Creating a safe and nurturing classroom environment that promotes learning and development.

Desired qualifications/experience:

• Certification or licensure in Special Education.
• Experience working with elementary-aged students, preferably with Autism or developmental disabilities.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in an onsite setting within a specialized classroom.

Location: Providence, RI

Interview availability is scheduled for Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and Thursday from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
