Job Description

A highly motivated professional is sought to provide specialized support as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant. This role is designed for the North Sacramento area within a K-12 school setting, focusing on delivering essential communication services to students. The position runs from May 2, 2025, to June 5, 2025, spanning 29 hours a week.

Qualifications:

• Current registration as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in California.
• Relevant experience in a school or educational setting.
• Strong understanding of speech and language development.
• Ability to implement therapy plans designed by a licensed Speech Language Pathologist.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in documentation and progress reporting.

Location:

• North Sacramento Area, California

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the delivery of speech and language therapy under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist.
• Prepare and maintain therapy materials and documentation as required.
• Conduct individual or group sessions to support students' communication goals.
• Collaborate with educators and other support staff to facilitate students' learning and communication.
• Monitor and report on students' progress, adapting techniques as necessary.
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of a supportive learning environment.
