Job Description

This position seeks a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students in a K-12 educational setting. The role involves providing speech and language therapy services to students ranging from 3rd through 12th grade, contributing to their communication development and academic success. The assignment is contracted for the school year, spanning August 1st through May 21st, with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering speech and language therapy to students.
  • Manage a caseload of 20 to 40 students with diverse speech and language needs.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans and document student progress.
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to enhance student learning outcomes.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
