Job Description
A Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is needed to provide support services in an elementary school setting with potential duties extending to some intermediate grades. This on-site position offers flexibility with full-time or part-time options and requires a valid Texas state license by the start date. The role is based in Quinlan, TX, under a contract for the upcoming school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering speech therapy services to students
- Work closely with students at the elementary level, with possible involvement at the intermediate level
- Manage a reasonable caseload to ensure effective therapy and progress monitoring
- Document student progress and maintain confidential records
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and healthcare professionals to support student needs
Qualifications:
- Texas state license for Speech-Language Pathology Assistant required prior to start date
- Experience or interest in both school-based and healthcare-related speech therapy services
- Ability to work effectively on-site during scheduled hours on a full-time or part-time basis
- Strong communication and organizational skills
