We’re looking for a Structural Engineer to join our team and reinforce the strength behind our industry-leading products.
About the Role
As a Structural Engineer at EAS, you’ll work closely with our Design and Manufacturing Engineering teams to ensure our products are structurally sound, code-compliant, and installation-ready. You’ll provide detailed structural analysis, collaborate with internal and external partners, and serve as a technical resource from concept through construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze product designs to determine structural integrity in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
- Provide clear guidance to Structural Production Designers for design adjustments.
- Specify and document lifting lug locations and types for all unit assemblies.
- Coordinate with third-party structural engineering firms to validate design strategies.
- Review and approve structural drawings and details for compliance and constructability.
- Support Engineering with structural analysis to meet unique project and client requirements.
- Advise Production Supervisors on structural corrections and interpretation during fabrication.
- Communicate directly with clients regarding structural design considerations and clarifications.
- Apply relevant codes, standards, and project specifications to all structural designs.
- Contribute to structural product line development and innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering .
- EIT, P.E., or S.E. license preferred (or willingness and ability to obtain licensure).
- Minimum of 5 years of practical structural engineering experience , preferably in manufacturing, construction, or modular systems.
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Proficiency in Revit for modeling and documentation.
- Skilled in structural analysis software, such as SAP2000 and/or Autodesk Robot .
- Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite , Google Workspace , Bluebeam , Access .
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
- Proven leadership and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects, timelines, and team inputs.
- Deep understanding of structural design, fabrication methods, and field installation practices.
