We're looking for a skilled and reliable gardener to help maintain and care for a private residential garden in beautiful Rhinebeck, NY, for the summer season.
Job Title: Summer Gardener Assistant
Location: Rhinebeck, NY
Duration: Seasonal (May through September)
Schedule: Full-time (approx. 40 hours per week)
Responsibilities:
- Maintain flower beds, shrubs, and small trees
- Weed, mulch, prune, and deadhead plants as needed
- Edge trimming as required
- General upkeep and tidiness of garden paths and outdoor areas
- Monitor plant health and recommend care as needed
- Handle seasonal planting if needed
Requirements:
- Prior gardening experience (residential or professional)
- All tools and equipment are provided
- Ability to work independently and reliably
- Knowledge of local plants, weeds, and pests preferred
- Must be comfortable working outdoors in varying summer weather
Compensation: $18 per hour
