We have a client who is a large local public organization with an opening for the following position: Job Title: Technical Project Coordinator for Phone & AV Systems (Temp Contract) Number of Openings: 1 Desired Start Date: Late June this year Location: San Francisco - Hybrid (mostly on-site with local travel to multiple Bay Area locations) Duration: 2+ years, 40 hours/week Hourly Rate: $85-$95 per hour Minimum Requirements Experience with phone systems and audio-visual systems 6 years of verifiable experience as a Technical Project Coordinator, Lead, Manager, or similar for phone or telephony systems projects 6 years managing large-scale phone or telephony projects (3,000+ users, 100+ rooms, 20+ sites), ideally for a public utility or government agency Responsibilities Project Coordination: Provide analytical support and serve as the main point of contact and Subject Matter Expert for phone system and A/V migration projects, reporting to the ITS Project Director. Tasks include planning, scheduling, tracking, managing project phases, quality, scope, change management, site visits, documentation, risk management, stakeholder engagement, vendor management, monitoring project status, and maintaining records. Additional Information The client plans to undertake two major projects over the next 2-3 years: Migrating from the aging Avaya phone system to a modern telephony solution. Modernizing A/V systems across all sites. We are seeking one (1) Technical Project Coordinator to support these initiatives on an as-needed, time-and-materials basis. The role involves working during regular business hours, with potential for partial remote work, at the client's discretion.
