MINIMUM 2 YEARS OF RECENT WORK EXPERIENCE WITH TIG AND MIG WELDING.
Connect Staffing is seeking an experienced TIG/MIG Welder for a manufacturer of large industrial laundry machines in Hutchins, TX.
Schedule: Full Time (6:30 am – 3:00 pm Monday through Friday)
Requirements for TIG/MIG Welder:
- 2 years or more of experience with MIG/TIG welding, using (Aluminum, Mild Steel or Stainless Steel)
- Pass a drug screen and background check
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Ability to use power and hand tools
- Experience operating a forklift
- Experience operating overhead cranes
- Prior experience in roles such as Welder/Fabricator, Combination Welder, TIG/MIG Welder, Production Welder, Structural Welder, Fitter/Welder, Manufacturing Welder, Custom Fabrication Welder, or Metal Fabricator/Welder is a big plus!

Responsibilities of theTIG/MIG Welder:
- Set up and maintain workstations
- Accurately read blueprints for various assemblies
- TIG/MIG weld small and large metals (Aluminum, Mild Steel or Stainless Steel) components
- Operate overhead cranes & forklifts
- Operate power and small hand tools (Ex. drills, grinders, plasma torch, etc.)
- Evaluate work and repair any flaws found
- Accurately use a tape measure to assure the accuracy of parts being produced
