✅ Position Overview:
This is a weekend supervisory RN role at a skilled nursing facility (SNF), responsible for leadership, compliance, staffing oversight, and care coordination .
? Primary Responsibilities:
- Act as liaison between Director of Nursing (DON) and SNF staff
- Supervise nursing activities and ensure quality patient care
- Ensure compliance with physician orders and facility standards
- Assist with:
- Staffing schedules
- Payroll & overtime approvals
- Hiring/firing decisions in conjunction with DNO/CNO
- Staff evaluations per facility policy
- Policy & procedure development
- Maintaining accreditation & licensing documentation
- SNF nursing budget development and management
- Staff education & orientation
- Recruitment and disciplinary actions as needed
- Collaborate with Medical Staff, Administration, and other hospital departments
? Qualifications:
- Active California RN license – required
- CPR certification – required
- 3–5 years of progressive nursing leadership experience – required
- Direct personnel management experience highly preferred
- Prior experience in long-term care/SNF setting
- Strong communication (verbal & written)
- Computer proficiency: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Must be organized, dependable, and have strong attendance record
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills

- This is a leadership/management-oriented RN role – not just bedside care
- Expect involvement in compliance, documentation, and staff oversight
- Facility values consistency, professionalism, and strong communication
- English fluency required

Active California RN license – required
