Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Working hours: Day 4x10-Hour (08:00 - 17:00)

Total hours: 40

RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR

REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP:

• Minimum Years of Experience: 2 Years Minimum Experience Required


• Traveler Experience: Clinic WILL ACCEPT 1st time travelers

• Skills: Adult Outpatient, Tumor Localization, CBCT/kV/mV imaging, Benign Brain Tumors, External Beam Therapy, Gynecomastia, Heterotopic Bone, IMRT - Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy, Keloids, Prophylactic Treatments, Prostate Cancer with Seeds/Fiducials, Respiratory Gating, Superior Vena Cava, Tomo Therapy, Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, Pancreatic Cancer, Testicular cancer, Varis- Vision/ ARIA, ARIA, TrueBeam, Chart check, Radiation Safety


• Certs: ARRT T, BLS

JOB DETAILS:

Ratios: 1:5 for days

Shift: 5x8’s 0800-1700; Monday - Friday

***RTO: 7 days MAX for AYA AUTO OFFER***

Float Requirement: POSSIBLE FLOAT TO SISTER SITE IF STAFF SHORTAGE. VERY RARE.

Weekend Requirement: WEEKENDS ONLY IF MACHINE WAS DOWN FOR EXTENDED PERIOD. VERY RARE

**Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed.

PATIENT DIAGNOSES: BREAST, LUNG, BRAIN, EXTREMITY, SKIN, ELECTRON, PROSTATE, GYN, PELVIS, GU, PANCREATIC, ESOPH

SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: There's one True Beam and one Siemens CT sim. There's five therapists that treat 20-30 patients per day, M- F. SBRT

UNIT SYSTEMS: Pyxis, Aria, SBAR

SCHEDULING TYPE: ***CAN START DIRECTLY AT THE CLINIC DUE TO NOT REQUIRING ANY ORIENTATION OR DIMENSIONS TRAINING***

UNIT ORIENTATION: Hospital provides brief orientation and rad onc clinic will provide further orientation.
