VP of Nursing Informatics needed for a strong growing hospital system!

Vice President of Nursing Informatics is a nurse informatics expert responsible to support nursing and patient care clinicians in the safe and effective deployment and use of clinical informatics and technology and acts as key interface and resource for cross-functional initiatives and responsibilities. Provides divisional nursing leadership support by utilizing information and technology to support nursing and clinical performance.

Reports to Division VP of Patient Operations and Emergency Services.

Qualifications:

• Requires at least 5 years of RECENT ACUTE CARE Leadership Clinical Informatics with Meditech experience. Need leadership experience managing multiple projects at one time and a large group of people. Need strong strategic leadership experience and be able to show how they collaborate with all service lines and colleagues.
• Texas RN license.
• National certification required within 6 months of hire, with preference in nursing informatics.
• Master's degree in Health Informatics, Business Administration, or Nursing required.
