Job Description

Infosys is seeking a Principal Consultant - HCM with extensive experience in Workday . This person will interface with key stakeholders and apply domain and technical & functional proficiency including requirements elicitation, design, build, and deployment of solutions for supporting customer’s Workday HCM application. As a Principal Consultant, this person will play an important role in creation and development of industry solutions. This person will be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, and excellence is rewarded. They will be responsible for creating high-level design artifacts, serving as a key member of the digital technology team, participating in HCM digital projects, integration development, and collaborating with finance leads, technical product managers, and third parties to orchestrate digital solutions using Workday HCM.

Required Qualifications

1. Candidate may be located in Richardson TX, Raleigh NC, Phoenix AZ, Indianapolis IN, or Hartford CT, or be ready to relocate to these locations.
2. Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent; relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
3. 11+ years of Information Technology experience.
4. Extensive experience in Workday HCM implementation or support projects, with relevant experience in HCM domain related to Workday.
5. Proficiency in all delivered HCM processes and reports, with the ability to suggest best practices.
6. Hands-on experience working on Workday cloud projects.
7. Experience in HCM modules such as core HR, payroll, absence, compensation, recruitment, talent, learning, time & labor.
8. Experience in implementing IT/business solutions in Workday cloud, building integrations, reports, and customizing business processes using native Workday tools.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience working in teams on large and complex HCM projects.
2. Ability to drive customer discussions independently and act as a trusted advisor, with a desire to work in a global delivery environment.
3. Excellent communication skills to convey complex technology solutions to diverse teams.
4. Experience providing consulting services for Workday cloud system implementations, including understanding and documenting business flows.
5. Knowledge of the full SDLC lifecycle, agile practices, and experience working in a global delivery environment.
6. Strong communication, presentation, verbal, and written skills.

Additional Information

The role may involve sitting and working at a computer for extended periods. Candidates should be able to communicate effectively via telephone, email, and face-to-face.
